TAIWAN - HUALIEN - QINGJING - DAY3
So today is the 3rd day of my visit in Taiwan! i go to Taroko National Park (花蓮太魯閣國家公園) , Hehuanshan (合歡山) , and lastly have an overnight around Qingjing area.
Since i have a night stay in Hualien, me and my mom decided to have morning walk to stroll around Hualien. As it is weekdays, we found bunch of students are heading to school by their own. This is different with my hometown, Jakarta, whose students mostly being fetched by car to school. Here all students are mostly walk by their own and have breakfast at the store nearby.
Moreover, there is a morning routine for some of the students to clean up the school environment before they go to their first lesson. I do not expect Taiwan to have education culture like this. Thumbs up!

So we kept strolling around and found mcdonalds and MOS burger nearby. I decided to try mcDonalds burger. Here it is.
Pork burger with egg + hashbrown + tea
While my mom ordered some bread toast from the store below, it is quite famous among students as the queue is very long before school begins and looks... delicious as well.
They have english menu as well if you request that, the store mostly sell western typical of breakfast. Unfortunately i do not have the picture of the food.
So after breakfast, Linda has waited us and we were heading to Taroko National Park. So here we are in front of Taroko National Park entrace?
And we go further, time to explore Taroko!
P.S. Taroko National Park is really big, i do not even know which Taroko i was standing at, but it is a tourist spot!
I just walking along the trail and spent about 2 hours! what the... i think i walked too slow or i enjoyed the scenery too much, but seriously this place worth to go to enjoy the chilly weather.
Then, we were heading to have lunch at aboriginal kind of village? restaurant.
We passed by and saw a long bridge in between 2 forests... Taiwan loves long bridge i guess, i found quite many in their mountain.
Then, on the way to Hehuanshan, we found this cute temple and pardon my face. Also, there was a tour coming to this place, i wish i know the name of this place hehe.
Then, we went straight away to hehuanshan! The mountain with a cloud, the road is a bit narrow and need to drive carefully. Also, the temperature dropped suddenly as we slightly went to the peak. There was still an ice around the road and Linda drove carefully.
And.. the outside temperature was 2 degrees. I honestly did not expect the temperature would fall that far. Hence i ended up with my thin jacket and... well, I could not capture nicely...
and luckily, that time was sunset!
Well, we were heading back to Qingjing area for our one-night stay in a cottage.
This is the road on the way to our stay and good night everyone! i would update where we stay in the next session! Cheers!
