TAIWAN - XITOU MONSTER VILLAGE & FOREST RECREATION AREA - FENQIHU - ALISHAN - DAY5

Today is the time for monster village!

Linda drove from Sun Moon Lake to Xitou forest and i noticed there are lots of colorful flower during our way to Xitou, once in awhile, i felt like i was traveling in autumn then going back to summer and back to the correct season, spring. HAHAHAHA

Too bad i did not have a chance to capture all the beautiful flowers..

So the journey from Sun Moon Lake to Xitou took approximately 1 hour drive and finally we reached Xitou Monster Village!

The entrance

Pardon my face.

So, we spent around an hour to stroll around Xitou Monster Village, looking for souvenir, taking picture, seeing all the food stalls, and we were walking to Xitou Forest Educational Area which is only a short walking distance from Monster Village.

There were so many senior citizens there, they really like hiking and exercise, salute!

Now let our exercise begins!

As i love to try Taiwan bridge, i managed to passed by the bridge and ended up into the forest (forgot the name), then keep walking into the forest! It was a pleasant journey as i found quite many squirrels around the forest.

As Linda suddenly called me, i needed to go out from the forest to continue to our next destination which is pond (again, i forgot the name)... And after walking quite long distance, we finally get to the pond!

I tried this milk tea and i like it! Taiwan is really a heaven for pearl milk tea hahaha.

Then, we went to Alishan bridge by car (before getting to Fenqihu) and found the temple.
We finally arrived to Fenqihu station and strolling around that area, including taking picture in their rail station.

Finally i found the very first Taiwanese bento (after 5 days traveling here) #sad , the taste is really nice especially for their pork chop (baigu). you can find the stall exactly below 7-eleven Fenqihu.

After that, Linda drove along the way to Alishan which took approximately 2 or 3 hours by driving from Fenqihu if i am not mistaken. The road is slightly dark and is a mountain area. I actually applause Linda because of her driving skills. Really appreciate it!

As we reached quite late into the hotel (gau shan ching hotel), we directly check-in for 1 night stay and we made a shuttle booking to Yushan National Park early tomorrow morning to catch the sunrise, so time to sleep early and woke up around 4AM! good night everyone! cheers!

See you in the next chapter!
