TAIWAN - TAIPEI - YILAN - HUALIEN - DAY2

So, here is the 2nd day of my trip. This time i plan to have a road trip outside Taipei. Therefore, i ask the driver to help me driving along outside Taipei. The driver is a female, very kind, trustworthy, and helpful in bringing us touring all around Taiwan. Her name is Miss Linda and she speaks good english. You may contact her on +886 917559332 . Do not spam please :)

Then we start our journey from Taipei to Yilan!

Previously, i was planning to go to Yehliu Geopark before heading to Yilan. Unfortunately, the time does not seem to fit in all the itinerary. We skipped Yehliu Geopark (i heard there would be tons of tourist there and difficult to take good pictures, so change plan to go to another formation rocks somewhere later).

We went straightly to Yilan County and spent about 1 hour to reach here. Then, we dropped by at Lanyang Museum (it is closed on Monday) but my main point is to take picture, so i did not take this as a problem and this is Lanyang Museum.

We were moving forward to Jimi Square located nearby Yilan Station. There are lots of photo spots for tourists and locals to spend their holiday.

After that, we had lunch at pork noodle around Yilan area. The taste is so delicious and no regret to try this while you are in Yilan. Too bad i forgot to ask the name of this restaurant...

Okay, now we were moving forward to HUALIEN!! yay! This journey takes approx. 3 hours driving and need to pass by the curvy mountain bordering between Yilan and Hualien.

So, before we reached to our main destination which is Hualien county itself, we passed by 七星潭 which is located at the north-end of Hualien county. Lets have a breath-taking view of this beach.

And we were heading to Sheng 'An temple, known as an iconic temple in Hualien.

Off we went to the Old Japanese hot spring. Unfortunately, it was closed, so i could not get much photograph in it. Hope this would do. And we continued straight away to Carrefour! #likefinally

As for dinner, we went to Hualien Night Market and found there have lots of food to try! Taiwan street food always a heaven for tourists! First of all, i tried their aboriginal sausage for 70$, takoyaki for only 50$ , and tuna+egg for 80$? *if i'm not mistaken* All is worth to try! give them 5 thumbs! They have similra type like roti canai, milk tea, steak on rice, sushi, etc.

And lastly what else i like from Taiwan? Their milk tea! I tried this one because the packaging is cute. The taste also nice! a brand which you should try once in Taiwan! you can find it in 7-eleven, family mart, hi-life, and OK mart, even they also sell it in Carrefour and other mini mart! This costs 28$ in average.

Well, this is the end of my 2nd day in Taiwan. Since i am in Hualien, i will go Taroko National park on the next day! See You!
