TAIWAN - DANSHUI - SUN YAT SEN MEMORIAL HALL - WUFENPU - XIMENDING - DAY9

Today is a shopping day! And still Taiwan public holiday...

Fortunately, the weather was sunny enough to persuade us going to the north of Taipei, we went to Danshui by train and reached there to catch the bus R26 (红26) to Danshui Fisherman's Wharf.

The weather was chilly and totally windy. I guessed because Danshui is a port surrounded by the mountain. Therefore, the wind is quite strong that afternoon.

We reached around 10AM and still less of people. So we enjoyed our walk. Here are some pictures at Danshui Fisherman's Wharf.

We kept walking and found a chocolate shop, they do not only sell chocolate, but also mochi, ice cream, candy, stationeries, etc!

We then took bus R26 to Fort San Domingo (the red building).

Actually it is a university if we walked further. And nearby the bus stop is a museum, but need to pay so we just went straight to the Aletheia University.

As we went straight and following the road sign, we finally get into the Danshui old street. Time for culinary hunting! (This is actually nearby Danshui station).

Black Milk Tea

This is totally taste nice, i tried their cheese cake for 100 NT$ only. (This is different with the store opened in Malaysia, but worth to try and price is cheaper in Taiwan!)

Danshui Old Street.

yummy fried squid :9

Tall ice cream, but i only bought for half-size.

The entrance of Danshui old street exactly beside Danshui station.

We continued to Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall by train. It was still sunny and the memorial hall is quite huge. Therefore i've just strolled around the hall and see what is inside the museum.

After that, we were heading to Wufenpu through Songshan Station. It is actually nearby Raohe night market and Wufenpu is the affordable shopping district for budget-friendly traveler and local there. Unfortunately, i did not find any to buy and only window shopping.

So, it is Wufenpu, only walking distance to Raohe night market.

Found this for 20NTD only! you can spot it in the intersection of Wufenpu.

We walked further and found another exit from Songshan Station & Raohe Night Market.

Raohe Market is there!

Since the market was full of people, we went straightaway to Ximending. Ximending is a modern shopping district with all things to find.
Me personally, still prefer their branch in Shihlin Night Market.

This drink is so refreshing, forgot the name, but it comes up with mango.

The crispy chicken is not bad.

Ximending area.

So this is the end of my 9th day in Taipei, tomorrow is the last day for me.. See you tomorrow!
