TAIWAN - JINGUASHIH - JINGUASHIH GOLDEN WATERFALL - NANYA FORMATION ROCKS - JIUFEN - DAY8

Hello everyone! Today is my 7th day in Taiwan and i decided to go to Jinguashih first so can end up watching sunset at Jiufen.

Since today is Sunday, we better get there early as the crowd will be real... Early morning, we were heading to Zhongxiao Fuxing station and manage to get into 1062 bus boarding to Ruifang station//Jiufen//Jinguashih. Their last stop is Jinguashih.

We tapped our EASY CARD when we boarded into the bus.

After approx. 1 hour 30 minutes journey, we finally reached Jinguashih gold museum! The weather is really chilly today to take the stroll.

The admission ticket is FREE and we spent approx. 3 hours to stroll around Jinguashih only.. And we did not go to their shrine as it needs to walk further and we did not have enough time for it.

So, as we went in, we found there is lots of stall selling the food also information counter! This really helps me to understand about 856 bus which i will take later to Nanya Rock Formations.

So, this is 856 golden fulong bus route. We needed to tap-in and tap-out as the distance is further. One way took 15NT$ to Nanya Rock Formations and the bus will also passing by Golden Waterfall.

Okay, lets get back to Jinguashih trip, i was walking following the path and found a building used to be Japanese stay named Crown Prince Chalet.

And nearby the castle have a restaurant to get our meal. This is unique because we could order the bento and bring back the miner's lunch box. The bento is for 290NT$ and we get free mineral water as well. They also provide water re-fill station.

So far, this is my favourite Taiwanese bento!

We continued to the gold museum and find a real gold. There was a long queue to get to the photo spot.

As the time had shown 2PM, we went straight to the bus stop and waited for 856 golden fulong bus to continue our journey to Nanya Formation Rocks. At first, i was standing at the bus stop which is opposite direction to Nanya. Fortunately, there was a bus driver relaxing and he straightly stopped 856 bus which was coming from opposite directions. Glad the bus also stopped. We straightly went into the bus. If not, we did not know when will we reach Nanya hahaha.

On the way to Nanya, we passed by Jinguashih golden waterfall. Pictures as below.

And here we are in Nanya!

I tried to get into the bus around 4PM. So, i could reach Jiufen around 4.30PM and i did it! Luckily the bus is very frequent on weekend. However, Jiufen is not recommended to go on weekend and in the evening as the crowd was totally real. We could not even move our body easily inside Jiufen old street...

Since the time has been 6pm. I can not go to Shifen anymore and just waiting for sunset at Jiufen. The sunset ain't bad though.

After that, we tried to get into the bus directly to Taipei. Unfortunately, there was full and the people helped us to get into Kuo-Kuang bus 788. We dropped off at Ruifang Station and using our easy card to get into the train.

The train also full of people. Moreover, there was no seat and we need to stand up for an hour+ due to overwhelming visitors. The train also stops quite long time and just closed its door after 5 to 10 minutes.

Once we reached Taipei Main Station, we went for dinner at fast food restaurant around and i bought MOS burger shrimp set. Not a bad choice though.

We bought some snacks to eat at night and time to take rest after a tiring day. See you!
