TAIWAN - YUSHAN NATIONAL PARK - ALISHAN FOREST RECREATION AREA - TAICHUNG - TAIPEI - DAY6

Today i have set the alarm to wake up at 4AM as i have to gather at the hotel lobby at 5AM to watch sunrise at Yushan National Park.

The temperature was 7 degrees and was successfully froze my hands in the early morning, i reached Yushan around 5.30AM and was waiting for sunrise until 6AM. I met quite number of tourists (also) waiting for sunrise and most of them were either Malaysian or Singaporean.

During our time, i managed to take some pictures progressively until the sun rose. As the sun began to rise, the temperature turned to be warmer. Only after that i noticed how bright & hot is the sunrise...

Well, after that i straightly went back to the hotel for breakfast. We reached hotel around 7.50AM and took a nap for awhile, the weather turned to be colder and i wish the sun is hot enough to heat my body but is not! *i guess because my lack of sleep also?*

Bye bye Gao Shan Ching hotel..
Linda drove us to breakfast area which is located nearby Alishan station.

Finally we continued to go to Alishan National Scenic Area. We went to Alishan Station and bought a train ticket to Zhaoping to enjoy the cherry blossom and surrounding area. This is a tourist spot to capture the train passing by with cherry blossoms around.

Also, the flowers are full of colors. Although pink is still a dominant color but we can see orange and other colors.

Guess i came a bit early during this spring season as the flower is not totally bloom yet...

We walked further into the forest. There is bunch of giant trees and branches.

Hello from another giant tree holes!
When we walked further, we found out a pond and moving forward is another giant tree areas.

After took a long distance walk, we found out that the forest connected to the temple and rest area. Therefore, we had a quick lunch. and re-warm up our body..
Dont know the name of this temple...

Pork chop bento with 4 side dishes (choose yourself). The counter is totally crowded with customer.

After lunch, continued with our stroll around the forest and we reached giant tree train station. As the time had shown 3.30PM, we decided to go back to Alishan station. The train was passing by all the giant trees before we finally reached Alishan Station. The weather became slightly chilly and foggy too..

I would say Alishan is a good place to visit eventhough need more effort to reach this place as is slightly at the peak mountain.

After this, we passed by Taichung to going back to Taipei. Therefore i requested to drop by at Rainbow Village to take some pictures. The weather was very windy and cold eventhough is only 14 degrees. This is the art by a former soldier, Huang Yung Fu.

Well, not long after, it was raining heavily with strong wind *again*. Linda brought us to Ichihuku for some souvenir and taste not bad :9

After that, she drove away all the way to Taoyuan area and finally reached Taipei in 2 hours. Taipei was raining and my trip with Linda ended. Now is time to explore by myself! Yippie!

I highly recommended the hotel where i stay, 9ine hotel whose transportation nearby is Daqiaotou Station (大橋頭站) and have night market around, below the hotel is exactly hi-life mini market.

The staff is really helpful and friendly. They have lots of tourist guide and you could ask them in person about Taipei top attractions. The room is also always in clean condition, they change all used and unused amenities everyday.

How to go to 9ine hotel?

Take exit 1 from Daqiaotou station and go straight until you see the 4-way intersection traffic light and turn left (you could walk across on the motor parking pedestrian area before the intersection road. 9ine hotel is exactly in front of you!

We can take some of their snacks and drinks (coffee, tea, or water).

No regret at all. Definitely i will come back to this place again for staying in Taipei!

Today is really a tiring day, yet excited to finally start my solo trip in Taipei! good night everyone!
